It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Reverend Eugene Anderson Sims, of Moncks Corner, SC, son of the late Stepney and Rachel Anderson Sims, who transitioned on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. He was a retired pastor in the Reformed Episcopal Church.

He was the loving father of David (Quanda) Sims and Davon (Jennie) Sims; siblings, Lewis (Yvonne) Sims Anderson and Ozra Sims; sister-in-law, Juliette Sims; special cousins, Samuel (Shirley) Shine and Ethel Hunter; special nephew, Steven (Trivia Milford) Sims and a host of loving relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Reformed Episcopal Church, 401 Stoney Landing Road, Moncks Corner, SC. ***THERE WILL BE NO VIEWING AFTER THE SERVICE. Burial will follow in Grace Memorial Cemetery, Moncks Corner, SC.
