It is with sincere sympathy that we announce the passing of Mr. Richard “Jack” Campbell, Jr. of Summerville, South Carolina, formerly of McClellanville, South Carolina, who departed this life on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mrs. Sarah M. Campbell; children, James Martin, Patricia Winns (Tyrone), Melissa Campbell, and Crystal Campbell; stepchildren, Sarah Jamison, Mildred Jamison, and Anthony Jamison (April); special grandchildren, Carma Matthews, Vontrez Campbell, and Angel Holmes; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Jeanette Smith (David), Leola Alston, and Harold Campbell (Ella Mae); along with many other family members and friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Lily Pond Missionary Baptist Church, 734 South Santee Road, McClellanville, South Carolina. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

Interment will follow in Old Board Cemetery.
