Robert Lee Davis, a son of the late Grady Lee and Ethel McKelvey Davis, was born on September 5, 1948 in St. Stephen, South Carolina. Rob departed his earthly home on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Moncks Corner Medical Center, Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
Rob received his education in the public schools of Berkeley County. After graduating, he moved to Bronx, New York. He was employed and later retired from New York Liquor Authority. He was also employed for many years at H.T. Cell Supply.
Rob was joined in Holy Matrimony to Azalee Epps.
After many years of living in New York, he relocated back home to be with his mother. His evening pastime was watching a good football game. He attended St. Matthew Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Rutha Mae Moultrie and Ola Mae Hamm.
Those left to cherish his memory are: his wife, Azalee Epps Davis of Bronx, NY; brother and housemate, Abraham Davis of St. Stephen, SC; two nieces, LaTeaka Moultrie of Alvin, SC and Sheronda Hamm-Washington (Lavelle) of Detroit, MI; one nephew, Nehemiah S. Hamm (Vernita) of Detroit, MI; brother-in-law, Nehemiah Hamm of Detroit, MI; seven grandnieces and nephews: Rynajia, Iysis, Lavelle, Shamiah, Kenyatta, Diamond and Malik; five aunts, Celia Robinson, Naomi McKelvey, Sulie McKelvey and Carrie B. Lambright all of St. Stephen, SC and Willie Mae Sumter of Detroit, MI; two special cousins, Abraham Dingle (Janie) and Julia "Tiny" Dingle both of St. Stephen, SC; other relatives and friends.CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE
