It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Roberta Hires of Summerville, SC, who departed this life on Thursday, July 4, 2024. She was the widow of Mr. Loucious Rusty Hires, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are: her children, Prentice Barcliff, Anthony Barcliff, Antoinette (Leander) Ferebee, Michelle Barcliff and Bettina (Joe) Deans; sister, Doris Davis, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abrom and Maglene Belton.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's WItnesses, 1308 South Main Street, Summerville, SC. Interment will be in Joiner Cemetery, 1093 Torrington Road, Holly Hill, SC.
