Robesene Wright Shine, formally known as Sena, the daughter of the late Kelly and Emmar Wright, was born on October 17, 1937 in Berkeley County, South Carolina. She answered her call from the Lord, early in the afternoon on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Moncks Corner Medical Center, Moncks Corner, SC.
Sena was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County.
Sena accepted Christ at an early age and attended Good Shepherd Reformed Episcopal Church until she moved to Moncks Corner, SC.
In 1965, Sena was united in Holy Matrimony to Charlie Shine, Sr. Upon this union, she joined Nazareth Reformed Episcopal Church, where she served in the following capacities: Usher Board, Pulpit Aid, Kitchen Committee, Berkeley Women Choir, Diocese Usher and Missionary. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her son, Freddie Wright.
Sena enjoyed life and fulfilled it with many passions. She was a well-known and great cook. Her favorite dishes that everyone enjoyed and will miss were her: red rice, homemade biscuits, sweet potato pie, potato bread and her okra and tomato soup. She took on many other great roles being a homemaker and domesticator. She sewed, took care of her plants and helped any and everyone that would grace her presence.
Those left to cherish her memories are: her five children, Kelly (Sharon) Shine, Patricia (David) Copeland, Betty Shine and Charlie (Annie) Shine, Jr. all of Moncks Corner, SC and Sandra Reid-Hamm of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Rannie Pinckney; two grandchildren she raised as her own, Selwyn Reid and Dana Copeland; other grandchildren, Patreece, Bradford, II, David Jr., Corinth, Kelley, Willie, Patrick, Kia, Kelly, Jr., Charles, Kiesha and Keenan; sixteen great-grandchildren, Jayan, Sh'Nya, Deuce, Jayda, Pierson, Kimari, Cyrus, Maddox, Dayton, J-R, Dawson, Cayden, Kingston, CJ, Lyric, Raya and Kalvyn; special niece, Margaret Glover; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
