Rosabell Nelson
Gadsden
July 23, 1961 – April 3, 2021
Rosabell Nelson Gadsden, daughter of the late Daniel Nelson, Jr. and Wilhemena Grant Hall, was born on July 23, 1961 in Charleston, SC. She departed this life on Saturday, April 3, 2021 to go home to be with our heavenly Father.
Rosabell flourished when it came to her education. She received her education in the public schools of Berkeley County and was a 1979 graduate of Berkeley High School. She then earned an Associate degree in Accounting. She continued her education and earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Rosabell was employed as a substitute teacher with the Berkeley County School District. She later was employed as a banking accountant at South Coast Community Bank until her retirement.
Rosabell was united in holy matrimony to Tony Gadsden on April 26, 1995. This union was blessed with four daughters.
At an early age, Rosabell attended Wesley United Methodist Church. Throughout the years, she attended Pointe North Church.
Rosabell was a very kind hearted, loving and obedient woman. She always had a smile on her face was loved by everyone. She will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband, Tony Gadsden; four daughters, Serrena Nelson, Tonya Varner (Julius), Tamala Gadsden-Hill (Jaylayne) all of Summerville, SC and JacQuetta Gadsden (Victor) of Walterboro, SC; eleven grandchildren; five sisters, Loretta Williams (Curt) of Florence, SC, Gloria McKelvey (Harris), Diane Nelson, Dorothy Holmes all of Moncks Corner, SC and Danielle Nelson of Charleston, SC; one brother, John Keys of Ridgeland, SC; special cousin, Tasha White; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021, 2:00 p.m., at Old Nazareth Cemetery, Wampee Road, Pinopolis, SC.
Please wear a face mask and practice social distancing at both the viewing and the service, as per CDC guidelines for COVID-19.
