LIFE REFLECTIONS Rose Marie Collins White, affectionately known as Pumpkum, was the fourth child of Margaret F. Collins and the late Seymour Collins. She was born on August 14, 1955. She departed this life on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital, Charleston, SC. Pumpkum grew up in the Eadytown Section of Pineville and attended the public schools of Berkeley County. She attended Cross High School. Pumpkum worked at Quiozel as an Assembler. She was a faithful member of Grace Reformed Episcopal Church. On May 4, 1973, she married James Lee Gaillard, Jr. and to this union seven children were born. She later married Earl "Boy" White. Pumpkum leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Earl "Boy" White; four sons, James Lee Gaillard, III, Clifford Lee Gaillard, Reggie Jeremiah Gaillard and Lionel Justin Gaillard; three daughters, Renia Mae (Roosevelt) Ancrum, Jennifer Marie (Tyrone) Gaillard-Howard and Kaintay A.D. Collins; her mother, Margaret Collins; one sister, Viola Holmes; four brothers, Ernest (Georgie) Collins, Isreal (Pearl) Collins, William Collins and Edward Collins; thirteen grandchildren; special friends, Shirley Reid-Dawson, Anthony Dawson, Alicia Reid, Malcolm Reid, Khaidjah Reid, Zion Snipes-Reid, Rosa President-Reid and Charlene Rutledge; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
