It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mrs. Ruth D. Shaw Joyner of Moncks Corner, SC, who entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 10, 2025.

Mrs. Joyner leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of her husband, Mr. Peter Joyner, Jr.; children, Sherri Levy (Jason) and Tyrone Joyner (Stacey); mother, Mrs. Joan Carter; grandchildren, Raquan Brown (Alasia) and Tenia Aiken; three great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Viewing will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, 12:00 p.m., at Bethlehem Reformed Episcopal Church, 1731 Old Highway 52, Moncks Corner, SC. THERE WILL BE NO VIEWING AFTER THE SERVICE. Burial will be in Bethlehem R.E. Church Cemetery, Moncks Corner, SC.
