Ryan Evan Marcus Pollard, son of the late Andrea Jamerson and Curtis Pollard, was born on July 16, 1994 in Charleston, SC. He departed this life on Monday, January 18, 2020 at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, SC.

Ryan received his education in the Dorchester County School District and was a graduate of Ashley Ridge High School, Summerville, SC. He was employed as a cook at Carrabba's Italian Grill.

Ryan, as a youth, attended Wesley United Methodist Church where he sang with the Youth Choir and was a member of the Youth Basketball team.

Ryan was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted grandmother, Doris Brabham; his beloved brothers, Christopher (Jonell) Jenkins, Johnathan (Latrice) Jenkins, Aeshare Pollard and Curtis Pollard; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Viewing will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, January 22, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at Old Nazareth Cemetery, Pinopolis, SC, with viewing from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. As per CDC guidelines for COVID-19, please wear a face mask and practice social distancing at the viewing and the service.
