Samaria J. Dillon, a daughter of Jarnerel Byrd and Dorothy Dillon, was born on August 17, 2003 in Charleston, SC. She departed this life on December 11, 2020 in North Carolina.

Samaria attended schools in South  Carolina and North Carolina. She was quite creative and artistic. She enjoyed designing clothing outfits. She enjoyed dancing and making others laugh. She will be greatly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Dorothy D. (Alando) Kirtz; her father, Jarnerel (Takiera) Byrd; siblings, Anthony, Aniyah, Ricardo, Alando Jr., Mario, Carmelina, Jarnerel Jr., Jaquan, Dantevian and Tyshawn; grandmothers, Linda Dillon and Leslie Steele; great-grandparents, Joseph "Joe" President and Marcella Dillon; devoted aunts, Kioshi (DJ) Heyward and Ellynn (Drew) Woodard; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Samaria was preceded in death by: her grandfather, Austine Dillon, III; great-grandparents, Rev. Austine Dillon, Jr., Dorothy Dillon and Dorothy President.

Viewing will be Friday, December 18, 2020 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, 1010 Cooper Store Road, Moncks Corner, SC on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.  As per CDC guidelines for COVID-19, please wear a face mask and practice social distancing at the viewing and burial.
