Samuel Middleton, Jr., son of the late Sam and Minnie Middleton, was born on July  19, 1932 in Berkeley County, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Charleston, South Carolina.

Samuel was educated in the Berkeley County School System.

He was an active member of Bethel United Methodist Church until his health began to fail.

He was well known for his daily bike trips to St. Stephen. He was employed for a number of years at Franklin Mazyck Lumber.

He was preceded in death by siblings: Ellic, Lucretia, Lelia, George and Robert.

Those left to cherish his legacy: two sisters, Edna Thompson of Moncks Corner, SC and Janey Middleton of San Diego, CA; one sister-in-law, Rebecca Middleton; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
