With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Samuel D. Morrison of Columbia, South Carolina, formerly of Jamestown, South Carolina, who entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children, Emma Jean Witherspoon, Deloris Simmons, David S. Morrison Jr. (Debra), and Anthony L. Morrison; along with his cherished grandchildren: Andrew Simmons, Andre Simmons, DeAndra Morrison, Ashley Robinson (Josh), Stevenson Witherspoon, David Morrison, Shaylyn Witherspoon, Ryan Morrison, and Cody Morrison, and one great-grandchild, Elynne Bennett; devoted siblings, Lillie Mae Young and Adline Washington; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday, November 14, 2025, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at New Mt. Zion AME Church, 1553 French Santee Road, Jamestown, SC. Interment will be in the church's cemetery.
