March 10, 1963 – September 12, 2019
On Thursday, September 12, 2019, Sister Sandra (Dingle) McKnight journeyed to her everlasting home at Moncks Corner Medical Center, Moncks Corner, SC. Sandra, lovingly known as "Pinky", was born on March 10, 1963 in St. Stephen, SC. She was the daughter of the late Louise McKnight and was reared in the home of the late Deacon Ned Winns and Mother Louise Winns .
"Pinky" received her education in the public schools of Berkeley County and was a 1981 graduate of St. Stephen High School. She was employed as a caregiver providing home health care to others.
"Pinky" was a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church where she sang on the Mack Choir. She served faithfully until her death.
"Pinky" had an illuminating personality. She would light up any room she entered with her storytelling and conversations. She enjoyed laughing and making others laugh. She loved sharing her talent of singing with everyone. "Pinky" touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her three daughters, Latoia Tenille (Ronnie T.)
