Sevonia Myers, daughter of the late Mable Myers, was born on May 12, 1961 in Charleston, South Carolina. She departed this life on Sunday, July 26, 2015 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina; just two weeks after the passing of her beloved pet and best friend, "Diamond". Sevonia was educated in the public schools of Charleston County, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1980. She furthered her education by attending Winthrop University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. She taught pre-school and elementary students for many years in Columbia, SC. For the last seventeen years, she was a dedicated employee of Wal-Mart, where she worked at various store locations and was Assistant Manager in Wilson, NC. Sevonia leaves to cherish her memories: five brothers, George Myers and Olander (Sharon) Myers both of Huntsville, AL, Alonzo Myers of Columbia, SC, Lester Myers and Oneil Myers both of the South Santee Community of McClellanville, SC; one aunt, Victoria Myers of North Santee, SC; three nieces; five nephews; five close first cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
