With hearts full of love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Mrs. Sheila Wheeler Nelson of Moncks Corner, SC, on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

A devoted wife, nurturing mother, and cherished grandmother, Sheila had an extraordinary love for her family and people. She was the proud historian of the Wheeler family, preserving its stories and legacies with care, laughter, and warmth.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy in the hearts of those who loved her dearly: her husband, Mr. Francis Nelson, Jr.; mother, Mrs. Dorothy Wheeler Green; children, Julian Tyrone Doyle, Lashonya (Daryl) Frazier, and Terrence Doyle; and the grandchildren she lovingly raised in her home, Isis and Ava Doyle; stepchildren, Franciso Thomas and Kunta (Shalicia) Thomas, along with a host of family and friends who will miss her deeply.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., at Nazareth Reformed Episcopal Church, 145 West End Drive, Moncks Corner, SC. Interment will follow at Old Nazareth Cemetery in Pinopolis, SC. The service will be live streamed on the funeral home's Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/gethersfh There will be no public viewing.

The family will receive visitors at the residence of her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Wheeler Green, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.
