Mr. Solomon Chandler, the son of John and Elizabeth Chandler, was born September 26, 1954, in St. Stephen, SC. He was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County. Solomon was a member of New Light United Methodist Church. Solomon was blessed with three children. He dedicated his life to loving his children. Solomon was a long-time employee of Fafnir Bearing in Newington, CT. He also received an Automobile Certificate in Connecticut. In his pastime, he enjoyed helping his neighbors and working on cars. On October 28, 2008, Mr. Solomon Chandler left his family to go to his final resting place in heaven. Those left to cherish his memories are: his children, Dawn, Renée, and Solomon Chandler, Jr. all of Hartford, CT; his mother, Elizabeth Chandler of St. Stephen, SC; three brothers, William and Walter Chandler both of Bronx, NY and John Chandler of Hartford, CT; three sisters, Ruth Paulin and Jannette Chandler both of Hartford, CT and Barbara Wiggs of Russellville, SC; seven grandchildren; a loving and devoted friend, Daisy Sorrel; special friends, Gloria Gilliard and Mr. Bradley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Solomon was predeceased by his father, John Chandler.
