January 23, 1940 – December 21, 2024
It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Mr. St. Julian "CE" Bennett, of Summerville, SC, who departed this life on Saturday, December 21, 2024.
Mr. Bennett was a retired employee of the South Carolina Department of Transportation. Known for his generous and kind spirit, he was always willing to help others and gave selflessly to those in need.
He leaves behind to celebrate his life and legacy: his wife, Mrs. Ada Adkinson Bennett of Summerville, SC; his children, Rev. Marian Bennett Joyner (Rev. Herbert) of Wilson, NC, Tiney Bennett Baker of Goose Creek, SC, and Robin Bennett Mazyck (Colin) of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Juliette Sims, Jeanette Reid, and Ronnie Bennett, all of Moncks Corner, SC; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of beloved family members and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
He was preceded in death by his children, Beverley Bennett Laribo and Charles Bennett.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, January 4, 2025, 11:00 a.m., in the O. Allen Gethers Jr. Memorial Chapel, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC, followed by interment at Old Nazareth Cemetery, Pinopolis, SC.
