On May 20, 1964, Steven Michael Pendergrast was born in Moncks Corner, SC. He grew up in the Polo Grounds in New York City, NY.

Steven attended Taft High School. He served 15 years as a Police Officer with the New York Police Department (NYPD). During the last 11 years, he was employed with US Security Associates at Fox News in New York City, NY.

Steven was well known for his dapper style in which he wore tailor made suits, with the most exquisite style of shoes a man can wear.

Steven departed this life on October 17, 2018 .

Steven leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Hattie and her husband Joel Flowers of Moncks Corner, SC; six sisters Pamela Pendergrast-Grayden of New York, Lashern "Chrissy" Pendergrast of Pennsylvania, Falyn and husband Tafawah Flowers-Pinnock of New York, Stephanie Flowers of Virginia, Katraya Flowers and Tattiana Flowers both of New York; one brother, Mark and wife Nicole Pendergrast of South Carolina; a host of nieces and nephews: Christopher and wife Samantha Grayden, Tayla-Ashley Grayden, Markie, Jayden, Jayda Pendergrast, Endia, Aziah, Yazmine, Zoe Bookhart, Kimora Perry, Londyn, Joziah, Kai Pinnock, Maya Gillett, Justin and wife Lastasia Gillett, Joelle-Jolie Waters; two great nephew and niece, Cameron and Savanna Grayden; one uncle, Naymon Harleston; one aunt, Dorothy Pendergrast; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
