Susie Bell Limehouse, daughter of the late Gabriel Holman and Eliza Heyward, was born on October 17, 1930 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. She departed this life on Monday, September 22, 2008 at her residence in Cordesville, South Carolina. She received her education in the public schools of Berkeley County. At an early age, she became a member of Cordesville United Methodist Church, Cordesville, South Carolina. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Richard Lee Limehouse, Sr. on July 5, 1949. This union was blessed with seven children. Her husband, along with two children, Rozetta Limehouse and Richard Limehouse, Jr. preceded her in death. Susie was employed as a Chef for many years at The Berkeley Restaurant and Magnolia Manor. She enjoyed walking and spending time with her grandchildren. She also had a genuine love for people and helping them whenever and however she could. She leaves to cherish fond memories: her children, Johnny Heyward, Ronald Limehouse and Gerald Limehouse (Cassandra) all of Moncks Corner, SC, Linda Villani (Joseph) of Baldwin, NY, Earl Limehouse (Carolyn) of Moncks Corner, SC and Al Limehouse (Reatha) of Macon, GA; two brothers, Thomas Smalls of Englewood, NJ and Samuel Phoenix of Moncks Corner, SC; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a beloved aunt, Rosalee Frasier of Charleston, SC; four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
