Susie Limehouse Williams, the daughter of the late James and Sarah Jane Rivers Limehouse, was born on June 6, 1940, in Cordesville, SC. She departed this life on Monday, February 9, 2015, at her residence. Susie was educated in the Berkeley County School System. She was a born again Christian and was a member of Greater Emanuel A.M.E. Church. Susie was united in holy matrimony to the late Herbert Williams on September 12, 1962. Three children were born to this union. Two daughters, Gwendolyn Black and Denise Cheryl Williams, preceded Susie in death. Susie was employed as a telephone operator in Brooklyn, NY. She was also an entrepreneur in the community. Susie leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Kesia Williams of Moncks Corner, SC; two grandchildren, Shatora and Breona Black of Miramar, FL; one brother, Joseph Lewis (Vira) Limehouse of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Caldonia Limehouse of Moncks Corner, SC; one son-in-law, Larry Black of Miramar, FL; three sisters-in-law, Emmerline and Virginia Limehouse both of Moncks Corner, SC and Adeline White of Manhattan, NY; one brother-in-law, Hugh Wayne Whitmire of NC; special niece, Mildred "Von" Hamilton; special nephew, Earl Limehouse; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, great-great-grandnieces and great-great-grandnephews.
