Thomas Lee Adams, the son of the late John Henry Adams and Sophie Davis Adams, was born on September 12, 1947 in St. Stephen, South Carolina. He departed this life on March 18, 2016 at Hallmark Health Care Center, Summerville, South Carolina.
Thomas was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County.
He always possessed a kind, gentle spirit. He will always be remembered for the way he loved to ask for money with his, "Give me a dollar" phrase and for his love of fried chicken.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Sandra Adams.
He leaves to cherish his memory: six brothers, Frank Adams of Andrews, SC, John Henry Adams, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC, Ernest (Eva Mae) Adams of Bonneau, SC, Clarence Adams and Owen Adams both of Moncks Corner, SC, and Silas Adams of Bonneau, SC; five sisters, Rachel Milligan, Virgie Mae Butler and Sadie (Mike) McKelvey all of Moncks Corner, SC, Reatha Limehouse of Macon, GA and Danielle Monique Dawson of Eastover, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
