Thomas Lee Reid, son of Herbert Lee Reid, Sr. and Bernice Williams Reid, was born on December 31, 1967 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. He was the youngest of six children. He departed this life on Thursday, July 18, 2019.

He received his education in the Berkeley County School System. Thomas was employed with the International Longshoreman Association, Local 1422 in Charleston, SC. He was a hard worker and a good provider for his family. He was well know in the community and on his job.

Thomas was united in Holy Matrimony to Lorraine Smith Reid. This union was blessed with three children.

Thomas' Christian journey began at Freewill Pentecostal Holiness Church in the Mitten Lane Community of Moncks Corner, SC. He later joined Trinity Holiness Church of Deliverance COGIC in Moncks Corner, SC, where he served on the Usher board.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Joann Williams and Elondia Gail Reid.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: a loving wife, Lorraine Reid of Moncks Corner, SC; two sons, Kwamaine Reid and Deandre Reid both of Moncks Corner, SC; one daughter, Amaya Reid of Moncks Corner, SC; his parents, Herbert Lee and Bernice W. Reid, Sr. both of Moncks Corner, SC; one sister, Cynthia W. McCoy of Moncks Corner, SC; two brothers, Herbert Lee Reid, Jr. (special friend, Coretta Jefferson) and Jay Dee (Sylvia) Reid both of Moncks Corner, SC; father and mother-in-law, Walter and Ruby Smith, Sr. of Moncks Corner, SC; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Smith and Teresa Smith both of Moncks Corner, SC; one brother-in-law, Walter (Yolanda) Smith, Jr. of Moncks Corner, SC; uncle, Elijah Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
