It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Timothy James Smith of Moncks Corner, SC, (Longridge community), who departed this life on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

The family welcomes the comfort of your presence, prayers, and kind expressions of sympathy during this time of sorrow. Friends are invited to visit daily from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the residence of his mother, Elder Elouise Smith.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held  on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Canaan Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 1232 Queenie Road, Moncks Corner, SC. Viewing will also be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Canaan Memorial Gardens, Summerville, SC.

Mr. Smith leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted children, Timothy James Smith, Jr., Tia Marie Smith, Damon Ezekiel Smith (Shanta), and Damontre Laquon Smith; his loving mother, Elder Elouise B. Smith; treasured grandchildren, Imarri, Qaysuan, and King Moultrie, and Shonterria, Damon Jr., and De'Moni Smith; caring siblings, Minister Matthew Smith (Patricia), Elder Sheila Pinckney, Annie Dozier (Dennis), Minister Georgianne Edwards, Viola Green (Emuel); along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will continue to carry his legacy in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Minister Ezekiel Smith, and siblings, Esau Smith and Virgie Snider.

Please continue to lift this family in prayer as they walk through this season of sorrow, remembering always that love lives on in the lives of those touched by his presence.
