Travis Benjamin White was born on September 18, 1980, in Charleston, South Carolina, a son of the late Earnestine White. On Thursday, May 24, 2018, God dispatched his heavenly angels to bring Travis home.
At an early age, Travis accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a member of St. Peters A.M.E. Church, Bonneau, South Carolina.
Travis, affectionately known as "Wiggins" to many, received his education in the public schools of Berkeley County and was a 1998 graduate of Timberland High School, St. Stephen, South Carolina. He was employed as a truck driver with Welborn Trucking, Inc. of Moncks Corner, South Carolina. His CB handle was "Snowman."
Travis was a devoted and loving father, brother, uncle and friend. Travis was known for making people laugh and bringing joy. He was always known as a sharp dresser. He loved hunting, fishing, car racing, and watching football. The Pittsburg Steelers was his favorite team. Travis was also known as the Facebook King.
Travis was preceded in death by his brother, Alvin White; and his grandparents, Richard and Viola White.
Those who Travis leaves to continue his legacy are: his loving and beautiful daughters, Kaniya White (mother, Kindra Bryant) and London White (mother, Shaday Duncan); his devoted sister/mother, Ella Ravenell and brother-in-law/father, Anthony Ravenell; a nephew and niece he affectionately called his brother and sister, Pierre and Sharonda Ravenell; special nephews and nieces, Alvin Jr., Shay, Rashaad, Sharay, Lequan, Latoya, Joel and Chris; special grandnieces, Taylor, Brooklynn and Dylan; aunts and uncles: Martha (Alfred) Broughton, Lavenia (Henry) Gadsden, Deloris (Alex) Simmons and Joe (Janice) Bradley; god sister, DaPorshia Swinton (Markeith) Brisco; god daughter, Tianna Mouzon; special cousins, Angela (Henry) Crawford and Darrell Gadsden; special friends, Lechey Dawson, Rogers (the Nelson Family) Nelson, Lester Thompson, Ed Milford III, Rose Mouzon, Clifford Flagler, David (Cindy) Woods; the Wellborn Truck Drivers & Staff; and a host of relatives and Facebook friends.
