Victoria Gadsden, daughter of the late Edward and Regina Bennett, was born on June 6, 1941. She departed this life on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by three siblings: Jerome Bennett, Vernell Woods and Festa Bennett. Victoria, affectionately called "Vic" by family and friends, received her formal education in the public school system of Berkeley County, SC. Upon graduation, Victoria moved to Jersey City, New Jersey where she met and soon afterwards married William Timmons, Sr., who preceded her in death. She later returned home to Pineville, SC where she reunited with and married her childhood sweetheart, Paul Gadsden, who also preceded her in death. At an early age, Victoria became a member of Redeemer Reformed Episcopal Church, Pineville, SC. Prior to her death, she was under Watch Care at New Covenant Baptist Church, St. Stephen, SC where Reverend F. C. Haskell is the pastor. She attended faithfully while her health permitted. She leaves to cherish her memory, ten children: Pamela Bennett-Jones, St. Stephen, SC, William Timmons, Jr., Virginia Beach, VA, Jeffrey Timmons, Pineville, SC, Darrell Timmons (Marlorunita), St. Stephen, SC, Cheryl Luckett (Theo), Virginia Beach, VA, Adolf Timmons, Virginia Beach, VA, Brenda Singleton (Michael), Fayetteville, NC, Vince Gaillard (Dominique), Pineville, SC, Anthony Timmons, Fayetteville, NC and DeAngelo Timmons, Summerville, SC; two sisters, Ruby M. Almond, Pineville, SC and Cynthia Milford, Pineville, SC; five brothers: Louis E. Bennett (Carrie), Hillside, NJ, Earl J. Bennett (Deborah), Russellville, SC, Thomas C. Bennett (Bernice), St. Stephen, SC, Isaac Prioleau, Pineville, SC and Felix Judge, Santee, SC; one brother-in-law, Jonathan Woods; thirty-five (35) grandchildren, four whom she reared in the home as her children: Tierra, Jeffrey, Jr., Jasmine and Moana Timmons; twenty-two (22) great-grandchildren; a special niece, Betty Bennett-Buggs (Randy); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
