A Time To Be Born... Sister Wilhemenia Bryan Fashion, daughter of the late Reverend Primus Bryan and Elouise Smalls Bryan, was born May 10, 1926 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. A Time To Die... Her journey ended Monday, March 9, 2009 at her home. A Time For Every Purpose Under The Heaven... Sister Wilhemenia was converted and baptized at an early age at St. John Baptist Church. After her marriage, she moved her membership to Mt. Carmel A.M.E. Church. There she was an Assistant Sunday School Teacher and served diligently on the Women's Missionary Society, Stewardess Board, Senior Choir and Golden Age Club until she was unable to continue due to illness. She was educated in the Berkeley County Schools and graduated from Berkeley Training High School in 1949. She rendered her services as a substitute teacher for Berkeley County Schools. She utilized her gift as a seamstress by providing professional service throughout the community. A Time To Be Blessed... In 1950, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Isaiah R. Fashion. This union was blessed with one son, Virgil, and two nieces/daughters, Barbara and Shirley. A Time Of Memories... Loved ones who will cherish her fond memories forever are: her husband, Mr. Isaiah Fashion; devoted children, Mr. Virgil (Rose) Fashion, Mrs. Barbara (Henry) Simmons both of Moncks Corner, SC and Dr. Shirley B. Lloyd of Goose Creek, SC; two brothers, Mr. Joseph Bryan of Charleston, SC and Deacon Solomon (Mary) Bryan of Moncks Corner, SC; two sisters, Ms. Nettie Bryan of Bronx, NY and Mrs. Nancy (Rev. David) Manigault of Moncks Corner, SC; two brothers-in-law, Mr. Edward J. Fashion and Mr. Victor Fashion, Jr. both of Moncks Corner, SC; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Sarah Thompson of Bonneau, SC; eight grandchildren: Jevon, Jordan, Latorie, Jamaal, Darrell, Devora, Desiree and Johnelle; six great-grandchildren, Jakari, Lance, Christopher, Dezariah, Jaavonte and Tatianna; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
