William James Rivers was born September 21, 1948 in Berkeley County, South Carolina. He was a son of the late Calvin and Jannie Fludd Rivers, Sr. William attended the public schools of Berkeley County. At an early age, William joined Emanuel A.M.E. Church. He was a faithful member. William was a person whom everyone loved, and he was willing to be a friend to all. To his family and friends, he was known as "Bill". William departed this life on Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at 1047 Cane Gully Road, Moncks Corner, SC.
