Willie Jeremiah Manigault, also known as "Chillie Willie", was the son of the late Charles Sinkler Manigault and Cynthia T. Manigault. He was born on February 16, 1941, in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. He departed this life for a place of eternal rest on October 2, 2023, at his home in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

"Chillie Willie" grew up in Berkeley County and graduated from Berkeley Training High School in 1958. Upon graduating, he moved to New York where he married Gail Manigault.

"Chillie Willie" leaves to cherish fond memories: his wife, Gail Manigault; his loving daughter, Winifred "Winnie" Manigault; two sisters, Geraldine "Angie" (Jesse) Aquart and Delnora Gillins; three brothers, Christopher, Samuel and Daniel Manigault; special cousin, William "Bill" Manigault; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and caring friends.
