Woodrow (Monkey) Limehouse, son of the late Edward and Mabell Limehouse, was born on January 10, 1932 in Moncks Corner, SC. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Charleston, SC after a brief illness. He attended the public schools of Berkeley County. He was employed with Umphlett's Mill of Moncks Corner, SC for several years. Monkey was a great cook for the community and loved baseball. He leaves to cherish his memories: his lovely sisters, Jerrie (Willie) Samuels of Moncks Corner, SC, Hennie Jackson of Charleston, SC, Monica (Christopher) McKinley of Columbia, SC, Margaret Ann Limehouse of Bronx, NY and Shirley Limehouse of the home; his brothers, Clarence Limehouse of Manhattan, NY and Leon Limehouse of Moncks Corner, SC; three children he reared, Antonio Terry, Brandon Lee Casey Limehouse and Cierra Latorre Limehouse; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
